U of I football team to hold fourth-consecutive holiday shopping spree

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — For the fourth consecutive year, members of the Illinois football team will help Champaign-area young families holiday shop in an annual tradition supported by head coach Bret Bielema and his wife, Jen.

Members of the team will be paired with mothers and families for a shopping spree tomorrow, Thursday, December 11, at the Walmart Supercenter in Urbana, located at 100 South High Cross Road.

The shopping spree begins at 6 p.m. CT and will last approximately 45 minutes.
