PET OF THE WEEK: Meet Sophie, who immediately begged for Duane to scratch her belly

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — We welcomed Donna (human) and Sophie (cat) from the Kitty Crib Thursday morning, and she brought “Sophie” – and had to interrupt Sophie’s breakfast to get her in her carrier. Sophie immediately warmed up, purred, wanted pets, and explored Duane’s studio without fear. She is nine-years-old and acts like a kitten – which is the perfect combination. Playful, but a great lap cat when needed.

Our wish is that Moore’s Rescue Ranch wins the lottery, and every single stray animal we find finds their forever home.

Duane and Sophie bonded, and we know she will make the best pet for whomever adopts her. Check out her visit here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BDZJunnqo/

We are so grateful to our sponsor of Pet of the Week, Curtis Road Animal Hospital. They have a great staff, facility, and location for all of your pet’s needs!
