URBANA, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Leaf collection for Urbana’s Friday U-Cycle route scheduled for Friday, December 12, will be delayed due to snow that is expected on Thursday evening.

City crews will be attending to salting and snow operations, delaying leaf collection until the week of December 12.

Earlier this week, Champaign Public Works also announced delays to leaf collection due to the snow.

U-Cycle residents on the Friday route are asked to set bagged leaves curbside by Sunday evening, December 14, for the start of next week. City crews will pick up bagged leaves as soon as they are able next week. As a reminder, please ensure bagged leaves are visible from the street and not buried under or behind snow for crews to access.

If you have any questions, please contact U-Cycle at 217-384-2302.
