Horizon Health to offer discounted health screenings March 13

PARIS, IL (Chambana Today) — Horizon Health will offer discounted health screenings Friday, March 13, at its Paris Clinic.

The screenings will take place from 7 to 9 a.m. and will be conducted by Leighsa Cornwell, RN, CDCES, a certified diabetes care and education specialist.

For $25, participants can receive blood pressure, blood sugar and a lipid panel screening, which includes HDL, LDL and triglycerides. For an additional $10, an A1c test can be added to measure average blood sugar levels over the past two to three months.

Patients planning to receive a blood sugar test are asked to fast for eight hours prior to their appointment. The test is performed with a fingerstick, and results will be available before patients leave the clinic.

Cash, debit or credit cards, and checks will be accepted. Insurance will not be billed.
