Downtown Champaign hosting Friday Night Live

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Downtown Champaign will be serving as the backdrop for Friday Night Live.

Friday Night Live is a free free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week. It will be held every Friday from 6:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. starting May 30 through August 22. Performances will be held at the intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, One Main Plaza, and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live includes a mix of rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues.

It will also feature free kids’ activities such as bubbles, balloons, face painting, caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos. For more information, visit Friday Night Live – Experience Champaign-Urbana – Brilliant.
