DANVILLE, Ill. (Chambana Today) — If you haven’t had enough spookiness from Halloween, the City of Danville is looking for Harry Potter Heads to join in wizardly fun and festivities in Downtown Danville on Friday November 7 from 5-7 p.m. while they celebrate one of their biggest events with a Deathly Hallows themed evening with as much full wizarding fun as can be conjured up.

Imagine walking into a scene and experiencing the action and characters from the movie, compete in a scary scavenger hunt with 15 local businesses for a grand prize! Wear your best costume for the costume contest at 6 p.m. at Temple Plaza. Test your knowledge with trivia at Temple Plaza at 7 p.m.

Butterbeer, themed vendors, food trucks and many activities will keep the magic alive all night long! Stop by the historic Fischer Theater to catch a behind the scenes experience of the production.

The spells will continue the next day on Nov. 8th from noon to 5 p.m. with a day of witchy vendor fun at Temple Plaza, brought to you by SarahLee’s Healing Mountain Crystals in downtown Danville.

Anyone interested in being a Potter themed vendor can contact Lindsey Franz at lfranz@cityofdanville.org for more information.
