DANVILLE, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Vermilion County Coroner has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Friday afternoon in Danville.

Coroner Jane McFadden confirmed that 46-year-old Michael J. K. Wagle of Danville was killed in the crash, which happened around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Gilbert and North Streets. The accident involved a motorcycle and an SUV.

Wagle’s family has been notified, and an autopsy is scheduled to take place later this week.

The crash remains under investigation by the Danville Police Department, Illinois State Police, and the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office.
