During the main trick-or-treat window (roughly 5 to 8 p.m.), expect temperatures between 48°F and 56°F with light winds — comfortable for shorter outings but still cold enough for layers. Organizers recommend parents and guardians dress children in warm base-layers under lighter costume pieces and consider well-fitting hats and gloves for older kids who’ll be outside into twilight.

With no rain on the horizon, it will be a dry night.
