Champaign Police Department to hold Coffee with a Cop next Thursday

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Champaign Police Department will be hosting another event before the end of the year that gives you the chance to connect with members of the police force.

Coffee with a Cop will be held on Thursday, December 18 at the McDonald’s located on 501 North Mattis Avenue in Champaign.

The event provides opportunities for open dialogue between members of the community and the Champaign Police Department over a cup of coffee. The event will run from 8 to 10 a.m.

This will be the final Coffee with a Cop event of 2025. Events have been scheduled quarterly around Champaign to reach residents in a wide variety of locations. This year, events were also held at Mad Goat Coffee, Harvest Market, and Parlor Doughnut.
