C-U at Home to host Grill & Connect cookout event

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — C-U at Home is hosting a cookout later this month, and the community is invited.

On Friday, August 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., C-U at Home will host a cookout event at its Mattis Campus, located at 1207 South Mattis Avenue in Champaign.

Burgers, hot dogs, and friendly conversation are promised. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the C-U at Home team, check out the space, and connect with the local community. All neighbors and local businesses are welcome.

“Whether you’re across the street or across town, we’d love to see you at our new home!” a C-U at Home release said. “This is a chance to celebrate new beginnings, enjoy lunch on us, and strengthen the ties that make Champaign-Urbana such a special place.”
