Bret Bielema’s radio show to return for 2025 edition

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Illinois football head coach Bret Bielema’s radio show, the Coach Bret Bielema Show presented by Surfside, is returning for its 2025 edition, with episodes set to air on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

The hour-long show, which will be on the 50+ station Busey Bank Illini Sports Network, will have its first episode of the year later today.

All season long, fans can listen as Bielema previews each week’s Illini game with host Brian Barnhart and special guests. Fans can expect to hear the latest news straight from the Smith Football Center prior to each week’s kickoff.

Six of this year’s shows will be aired in front of a live audience from inside the Smith Football Center on the U of I’s campus. Due to capacity limits, shows will be limited to invitation only.
