Annual Santa 5K coming to St. Joe next Saturday for 8th installment

ST. JOSEPH, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The eighth annual Santa 5K is coming to St. Joseph next Saturday, promising another day of exercise, music, milk, cookies, hot chocolate, and photo opportunities with Santa and the Grinch.

Signups for the event run until Tuesday, December 9, and cost a $35 run or walk fee plus a $3.10 signup fee.

Swag includes a Santa hat, a Santa beard, a long sleeved red Santa shirt, and a Santa medal for participants.

The non-profit event looks to serve the community by raising money to benefit local charities while promoting health and fitness.
